SUNSETS | Soundscapes at DIO begins at 5pm with the simplicity of open access and the confidence of an uncompromising musical vision. The beach. The Aegean. The light on its way out. Sound that meets the moment without forcing it.
This is a free event but free doesn't mean casual. The curation runs deep. Inspired by the beach clubs and rooftops of Ibiza, Mykonos, St Tropez, and Paris, SUNSETS brings a standard to Crete that the island doesn't often hear. Ambient textures open slowly. Melodic grooves find their depth. Afro rhythms come through with intention. Nothing lands by accident.
A rotating program of local residents and emerging artists gives each night its own identity. Some evenings are charged. Some are still. All of them are shaped with care. From golden hour to dusk, SUNSETS is the space between day and night and everything good that lives there.
